Private group surfing lessons are just that. Surfing with just your family & closest mates!

Groups of up to 4 surfers can surf in your own private team surfing lesson. It's just you, your team mates and your surf coach. Share your freinds' wins, laugh at their fails, get competitive but always support your surf crew.

Then the Private Group Surfing is for you!

Our only prerequisite is that participants MUST be able to swim AND confident in the sea! Weak swimmers are welcome. NON-SWIMMERS MUST learn to swim first.

Parents with younger surfers, under 12 years old, should advise us if additional surf coaches are required.

Walk-ins are welcome but we STRONGLY recommend that you PRE-BOOK your surfing lesson in advance to secure & guarantee you sessions and avoid disappointment.

What to Expect

Everything you'd find in a regular surfing lesson

FREE RTT sticker
Rash-guard for you lesson (loan)
Concise beach brief & coaching to begin each session
Surf coaches in the water & waves with you
Hands-on assistance finding, selecting & catching waves.
Drinks & snacks on sale at our Freight's Bay surf shop
Changing room
Bathroom
Secure kit locker (for personal items)

What to Bring

Sunblock
A towel
Favourite or coolest boardshort or bathing suit
Rash-guard, if you have your own
Reef booties, not essential
Personal water bottle for refills

Customer cancellations made with 72 hours notice can be refunded in FULL.

Dangerous weather/swell or lack of waves will force us to postpone & reschedule surfing lessons or fully refund.
